See update below. It has been over 3 weeks since I ordered this and I still have not received it. It originated in China and has taken a very slow route to arrive. When I check the status, I usually do not see movement. Then the movement is described in a non specific way. Frustrating. What I think I like about this lighter is that it is in a sealed shell that uses o-rings for a good seal. The fuel should not evaporate between uses. Also, you can periodically check the fluid level by opening the fuel fill and pushing on the cotton. It should not be dripping but when you push on the cotton, fluid should appear. I absolutely hate lighters with no ability to check the fuel. If you trust them, you will get somewhere where you need it and there will be no flame. I am imagining getting 20 to 30 good lights per charge of fuel. The shell is .39 inches wide, which will let it fit in a small pouch inside my wallet. All of my wallet tools such as 4" Knipex Cobra Pliers and a 4" (folded) knife are .39 or less in width, to avoid bulk. I like that it has extra flints in the top of the shell. I expect to be able to use and to maintain the lighter in remote locations. It is of interest that you can use several types of fuel safely if you have to. This lighter will run on all standard lighter fluids and Coleman fuel well. In a pinch, you can use gasoline. When I reach for it, I want to be confident that it will light. Hopefully this will arrive and I can test it.Update: Ordered Jan 7 2023. Arrived Jan 30 2023. So delivery was SLOW. VERY SLOW,I have received the lighter and am VERY PLEASED with the quality and performance. It is made of beautiful polished brass and is very strong. It holds plenty of lighter fluid. The striker easily rotates and produces good sparks. The sparks always light the wick and the flame is a good strong flame. The lighter totally seals with 2 o-rings, so there will be very little fuel evaporation.If you leave the flame lit for 15 seconds or more, the flame will heat the striker wheel and the top of the lighter. You will have to let it cool before touching it again to light. As with any wick, they burn. I am using tweezers to advance the wick. I am not looking forward to putting in the new wick. I will probably have to thread it through the small hole from the far end of the tube.Overall, for my purposes, I rate this as a 5/5.
