ACETECH Lighter BT Airsoft Tracer Unit - 14mm/11mm Pistol Adapter with Chronograph & Glow in Dark Feature - Perfect for Night Airsoft Games & Target Practice

I needed a chronograph and a tracer unit but had a very limited budget. This fills both roles and is my default for all chronograph testing on my guns (all my airsoft use tracers, so all have threads). Accurate, light, as sturdy as can be expected, and the features do exactly what they say they do. If you only need a tracer check out the Acetech Brighter C as that's another stellar performer without the functionality of a chronograph.Note: Red tracer BB's just are bad. They will not glow brightly no matter what unit you use if you compare red to green. Green glowing items just put out more visible light than the red formulation as a result of physics and biology. I have never seen a red BB that compared to a green one no matter what tracer or system for charging the red BB was used. Please do not be disappointed if you notice red will not glow as brightly as green. It's not the tracer unit's fault... it's the BB.Thoroughly enjoy this item! Makes the pellets super green! Have yet to try red. Had me a little confused as to why I wasn’t getting a chrono reading till I realized you can only do one or the other. Either your lighting up the pellets. Or your taking a reading. It can’t do both at the same time.I have the LT-15 rifle with the mock suppressor, and to install any threaded attachment you will have to remove the mock suppressor. Don't buy any ACETECH lighter that is shorter than the BT or you wont be able to get to it once you install the hand guards. First I had to remove the orange rig by removing the metal pin at the bottom and heating the orange ring on hot water. The orange ring is not threaded in. Then you have to remove the 2 Allen screws on the sides of the hand-guard. Now unscrew the hand-guard and slide off the barrel. Now you will need to use a hair dryer to loosen the glue that holds the barrel to the mock suppressor. The threads are righty loosey. Once you remove the suppressor you will need to use a dremel tool to cut inner barrel shorter. Cut the barrel no more than 12mm away from the threads. I cut mine very close to the threads. Clean and smooth the cut barrel. Now reinstall the handguards and now you can thread your Lighter BT. Lefty tighty. Mine looks and works great.For some reason it's almost impossible to find a tracer that lights up BOTH red and green bb's. This one does it both. The red BB's look amazing, the green lights up just as bright as my other tracers (acetech 1000, and acetech mini). Plus you have the benefit of a built-in chrono!! I downloaded the app and could see the speed of all my bullets!! so cool!! Most tracers are in the 60-70 buck range and only light up green. For a bit more you get both green and red as well as a chrono!! No problems yet after a handful of battles. Battery lasts plenty long, easy to charge, and looks very sharp on the gun even in the daytime!!Product is outstanding but only issue was how long it took to ship. Got here a day later that what Amazon prime said. Still worth it thoughGreat accessory for your airsoft! I did have to modify(cut) my inner barrel to fit my LT15 but happy with the end results. I'm not sure how accurate the chrono is but it is very consistent. I would have to compare results to another chrono unit to see. Tracer bbs are nice and bright and bluetooth connected without any issues. I recommend paying a little more for the BT to get all the added features other units don't have.I have had mine since march I guess, but haven't even used it in a field since everywhere has been closed. Once I received my tracer, I charged it and then used it for a few shots on green and red mode, chrono tested maybe 3 guns and then had it put away since about a week ago when I was finally able to play somewhere and I figured it would need to be recharged before play and so I did and then I go to try and chrono my guns again to be sure they are where they should be at and I notice right when I connected to my APP and synced my tracer that the green light had then stopped blinking and stayed green as the app was taking almost 20 minutes to "update" and then it never even finished updating because my phone screen went to standby it was taking so long! i turned off my bluetooth trying to reset things because maybe it was just the connection timeout with the app, but NO! when I go to shut off the tracer it took like 30 seconds maybe a minute of holding down to turn off and then when it finally turned off, it never turned back on!!!! fully charged and everything!? maybe overcharged or undercharged but that shouldn't even be a thing... so i checked and it would light up a red light for charging but no turn on and then after about 3 days of waiting to see if it was frozen or something weird, now it won't even light up a red charging light . Literally all this happened like 2 weeks after I was eligible to return it. Now i have a 100$ mock suppressor pretty much... my Lighter S's are WAY MORE RELIABLEIt's a really nice tracer unit for airsofting. It's lots of fun to use.Has the ability to fire green or red bbs.It charges through USB saving weight and battery compared to other tracers. It's lightweight.Can confirm where your shots are going which is fun and functional.I do have a few complaints:The FPS chrono is not accurate, I thought I could use it to check my FPS but it doesn't really calculate it right as opposed to proper chronographs.The front cap is plastic and can be damaged. Would have been great if it came with a metal front cap(which Acetech does have but has to be a separate order, why?)Otherwise if you want to make airsoft fun, this tracer unit for indoor games is great. Remember it only works with tracer bbs not regular white bbs.Bloody awesome! Game tested this thing a few times and love it If you don't have one get one!Also if you didn't know the company that makes this (acetech) has made awesome tracers and chronos for years so ya.This item is amazing, I bought it for indoor airsoft. It supports both red and green tracer units. The red lights up so nice. I looked in my local store and this exact unit was selling for $179. If you look up the top 5 attachments you should have for indoor CQB on youtube, you will see a tracer unit is a must.It comes with all the proper connections for rifle or pistol. It holds a charge for a long time, and shuts itself off if inactive for more then 40 min to also save battery. You can find the red tracers on Amazon by searching "acetech red tracers". I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this unit, unless obviously a manufacturers defect of some sort.It seems to accurately measure FPS which is really what I wanted it for, but the BB's are very bright. Actually bright enough even in daylight you can sort of pick them up. Much better than white BB's. A bit long though so make sure not to have a huge 16" barrel like my GBBR does haha. I'll be getting an SBR for it and I am sure I'll love this even more.
